East Kew Affiliation
Each club will continue to operate as separate organisation to provide football to our members.
Going forward, all members will benefit from increased cooperation between the clubs and increased opportunities within Community, NPL, MiniRoos, Women’s and All Abilities football programs.
Manningham & East Kew will work together to:
- Bolster participation and success within East Kew’s U18’s Community to State League Programs.
- Create a pathway for Manningham Community and NPL players to play competitive Senior Football with East Kew
- Create a development pathways for East Kew players to play NPL
- Provide access for East Kew All Abilities families to join Manningham’s existing program
- Players will be able to seamless transition between clubs in the off season.
- Work closer together on shared community administration and football development objectives.
To celebrate our new alliance, Manningham and East Kew will now share uniforms, with East Kew’s Red & White Home Strip to become Manningham’s away strip and East Kew to wear Manningham Blue for away games.
Our club’s football departments will also align and work closely to nurture and grow talent across both clubs.
Administration will also be streamlined between the two clubs so that we can realise the value of shared technology and football resources.
East Kew and Manningham will continue to:
- Remain as separate organisations with unique, but aligned, culture and community.
- East Kew will remain a destination community club within Boroondara Council with Manningham being the same in Manningham Council.
- Manningham will continue to operate Community boys programs that will feed into a combined development pathway.
All other programs will continue as they are today.
