Senior Men — VPL1
On 27 November 2014, Manningham United — then a Victorian State League Division 4 side — merged with Fawkner Blues, a State League 1 club, to form Manningham United Blues Football Club. In that inaugural season the club fielded 30 junior teams, growing to become the biggest community club in Manningham.
Playing out of Timberidge Reserve and Wilson Road Reserve, the senior men's side found their feet gradually — finishing 10th in their first season before climbing to fifth in 2016.
In 2018, Manningham achieved promotion from State League 1 to the National Premier Leagues Victoria 2 with a league championship. Dean Lorenzi finished as both the club's and the league's top goalscorer with 21 goals — a landmark moment in the club's short history.
In 2023, in one of the most dramatic finishes in recent Victorian football, Manningham entered the final six games of the season facing the prospect of either relegation or promotion. A remarkable run of back-to-back wins delivered a second-place finish on the final day — securing promotion to NPL1, the top flight of football in Victoria, making Manningham the youngest club in history to reach that level.
The club now competes in VPL1 — the second-highest league in Victoria — under the guidance of Head Coach Nick Marinos, continuing to build on an extraordinary decade of growth.
